With its wooden balconies, frescoed walls and friendly, personal service, the Hotel Pension Hannes is the kind of family-run guesthouse that Austria’s famous for. It’s set in a peaceful part of the village near the lifts, so you’ll be up on the mountain in no time. Then when you’re done skiing, you can cruise back to within metres of the front door.
After a session on the slopes, spend your time in the hotel bar and swap ski stories while sipping your favourite après tipple. Or do as the locals do and round off the day in the sauna and steam room.
Come morning, you can set yourself up for the day with a buffet breakfast. Load your plate with sliced meats, cheeses, fresh bread and scrambled eggs. Then in the evenings, enjoy traditional, fill-your-boots fare from dumplings and stews to crispy schnitzel. Just the thing for when you’ve been racking up the ski miles.
Breakfast is buffet style and dinner is three courses with a choice of main course. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve Gala Dinners are included in the price of the holiday.

Twin room – sleeps 1-3: Austrian twin beds, single bed, private shower, WC and balcony.
Cots are available to hire, free of charge, on request.
