The Grand Hotel lakeside location is really something special. Right in the centre of Zell, this hotel has panoramic views of the huge lake and surrounding snowy mountains. And it’s just an 8-minute walk or a short ride on the free shuttle from the nearest gondola. Dating back to the 19th century, the Grand has ornate Belle Époque designs throughout. With patterned headboards and fancy tiled bathrooms, the rooms take a luxurious twist on traditional alpine style – and many have a view of the lake. If you treat yourself to a suite, you’ll have free access to the luxury Grandspa, too.
When it comes to food, a hot and cold breakfast buffet will set you up for the day, and there’s a 4-course evening meal to look forward to later on. With regional specialities and classic favourites on the menu, and a fab view of the lake from the restaurant, mealtimes are a real treat.
