All Soldeu & El Tarter Packages
Soldeu is set in the Andorran Pyrenees, located alongside El Tarter making up part of the extensive Grandvalira ski area. Both areas have fantastic ski schools with instruction given by English speakers. The village is made up of modern buildings with traditional stone cladding set on a steep hillside that leads down to the river with the slopes on the opposite side. A gondola takes you to the heart of the slopes at Espiolets and a wide bridge across the river makes up the end of the piste home. Many people leave their skis, boards and boots at the bottom or top of the gondola.
Soldeu Apres Ski
Soldeu has lively après ski that is mainly made up of rep-organised events and bars. Fat Albert’s often has live music and the Pussycat is often a good late-night establishment with party themes. Off the slopes there is a spa in Soldeu to get pampered in or try the Caldea thermal spa in Escaldes-Engordany. There is also some really good shopping to be found in Andorra la Vella
Soldeu has a fantastic modern lift system that links both Soldeu and El Tarter together giving access to nearly 200Km of piste. Beginners will enjoy the fantastic English speaking ski school and easy nursery slopes on the Pla dels Espiolets at the middle station ensuring you progress quickly onto the long sweeping runs from Solana del Forn. Intermediates will love the area as the resort is mostly made up of blues and reds. Try skiing the Riba Escorxada valley, known as the bowl. More advanced skiers and boarders should take advantage of the GrandValira pass and take on the whole area. Test out your off piste skills in Grau Roig or test your knees on the bumps to Soldeu village.
