Mont Tremblant Ski Resort is the main Eastern Canada ski destination and is great for that shorter flight across the Atlantic. There is a real Gallic feel to the resort with the streets being jam packed with traffic-free cobbled streets, patisserie’s and cafes. The village has been built in the style of old Quebec buildings with vibrant colours throughout. Mont Tremblant Ski Resort Activities
The Spa Scandinavia has a sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tubs and waterfalls. If you just can’t sit still then you can also go hiking, ice climbing, horse riding, ice skating, curling, snowshoeing, tubing and dog sledding! Off the slopes the Aquaclub La Source pool complex is worth a visit as it is made up to look like a lake set in a forest.
Families will love the skiing and boarding at Tremblant as there are plenty of green and blue runs and a fabulous ski school. A heated gondola takes you to the top of the mountain where the views are fantastic. There are 2 acres of beginners runs with plenty of long easy greens to move on to. Intermediates will find great cruising runs on both the North and South Sides. More advanced skiers and boarders will find the bumps on the North side to be nice and steep and there are plenty of runs through the trees to play in as well. An 18 acre terrain park will keep advanced skiers and boarders amused while the progression park just above the village is perfect for beginners. There is also a super-pipe.
