Panorama is an ideal Canadian Rockies resort where excellent value, ski convenience and world-class skiing go hand in hand. The resort village which sits at the base of the piste means which ever of the high standard accommodation you choose, you will always be just yards from the lifts, ski school and slopes. Overlooking the base of the mountain are the hot pools that the resort is famous for, and all our guests can use these after a day on the mountain.
Panorama Ski Resort Apres Ski
Not the biggest resort in the Rockies but there are still a selection bars and restaurants to relax in after a hard days skiing.
Panorama Ski Resort Bars
If you fancy a quiet game of pool mid-afternoon, try the T-Bar and Grill which. later on, gets pretty busy. If you just fancy a coffee, try Lusti’s Cappuccino Bar. For cocktails pop into Monticola.
Panorama Ski Resort Restaurants
One of the best restaurants (in our opinion) is Grey’s Restaurant where the food is excellent. The Cliffhanger Restaurant is also very good. Maybe the best burgers in town are served at the T-Bar and Grill but why not go and make up your own mind…
Panorama Ski Resort Activities
Away from the slopes there is a large variety of activities including Heli-skiing, Snowmobiling, Cross-country skiing, Sleigh rides, Snowshoeing and Kicking Horse ski resort day trips.
For true beginners, this is a great place to learn with a dedicated learning area and one of Canada’s best ski schools. For the more competent there are plenty of wide, regularly groomed green runs and simple blues making progression a doddle.
The skiing is incredibly varied with plenty of green, blue and black long cruising groomed runs which zigzag between the trees. For the more advanced skiers then head to Taynton Bowl or Extreme Dream Zone where a plethora of chutes, glades and steeps await. Now Panorama has night skiing every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4 to 8pm
